One Year

I’m so proud of the day just over a year ago, when me, my baby (and my husband!) did this together and I officially became a mom. ⁣
⁣
It’s extraordinary to think that everyone on this planet, everyone I see walking in the street right now, hasn’t just always been there, but was carried in a woman’s belly for a good chunk of the year and then went through this unbelievably complex and violently beautiful convolution of hormones, reflexes, impulses and other Divine interventions that make birth.⁣
⁣
Having been through this I feel the connection between us all, humans, more than ever.⁣
⁣
We are truly one, a life force…⁣
