Unexpected Harmony

I love it when a photo speaks to you but you have no idea what it’s saying, and that’s okay. In fact it’s better that way.⁣

If you give it your time and attention,⁣ just slow down and stay with it - you begin to savour god knows what in form of lines, colour and light. And that’s somehow enough.⁣

Kirill takes a bit of a risk and combines light and dark islands in his photo - not always an easy task as it can split the image. But he gets away with that.⁣ He is not necessarily looking for beauty, it’s more like he’s searching for meaning, to make sense of things by getting close, to question them, and in the process he finds this unexpected harmony.⁣
